How Guided Reflection Supports Better Decisions
Structure does not remove responsibility for a decision. It makes the decision visible before it is made.

A decision made quickly is not necessarily a decision made badly. But a decision made without seeing the alternatives is rarely a decision at all.
Guided reflection lays the options out: what happened, what perspectives exist, what responses are available, and what each is likely to cost.
HeadCheck never tells a person which option to take. It makes the shape of the choice visible so that the person choosing can see what they are choosing between.
Responsibility stays where it belongs. The tool supports the thinking; the person carries the decision.
